Buy outs include traditional Management Buy Outs (MBO's) as well as Management Buy Ins (MBI's) and specific projects which were originated and structured by Beltrae Partners:

Relay Software Ltd

Advised shareholders in partial sale & MBO of the business to the London based private equity fund, Hg Capital.

Learning Pool Ltd

Advised shareholders in a partial MBO of the business to enable one of the main shareholders to retire.

PathXL Ltd

Advised on a seven figure venture capital funding raising required for R&D and expansion. This included introducing the lead investor PAR Equity who invested alongside existing investors and The Clarendon Matched Fund.

Vita Liberata Ltd

Beltrae advised the main shareholders on a the successful finance raising involving the introduction of new Private Equity shareholders and new banking facilities to fund the rapid growth opportunities for this business.

Anderson Manning Associates Ltd

Beltrae structured and negotiated a management buy-in of the business including raising all the associated funding required to acquire the business in January 2009.

i-Path Diagnostics Ltd

Beltrae provided advisory services to this spin-out company over the last 5 years to commercialise its software products. This led to a successful introduction of a seasoned chief executive, in a management buy-in of the business which was part of a first formal fund raising round led by Crescent Capital in November 2008. In 2011 the company successfully completed a second round funding supported by Crescent Capital, QUBIS and two high net worth investors.

Invisible Heating Systems Ltd

We acted for the buy-in team who acquired this market leading renewables energy business. Beltrae initiated the transaction and raised all the debt and equity funding to acquire the business

Botanic Inns Ltd

The MBO of Botanic Inns (for a publicly reported value of 30m) was a deal created by Beltrae Partners, who raised the funding and negotiated and structured the deal in partnership with NCB.

Robinson Butler Holdings Ltd

Beltrae led the buy-out of the operating company and the property, of this leading Belfast based wholesale and retail distributor of kitchen, bathroom and tiling products, based on the Boucher Road. We introduced the MBI candidate who has become Chief Executive. The buyout resulted in Beltrae Partners and the new Chief Executive becoming majority shareholders in the company, along side the existing management team

The Brunch Box Sandwich Company Ltd

Beltrae led the buy-out of the trade & assets and the factory property of this leading Belfast based manufacturer and supplier of freshly made pre-packed sandwiches and snacks to the foodservice industry. We introduced the MBI candidate, who is now the Managing Director. The buyout result in Beltrae Partners and the new Managing Director becoming majority shareholders in the company, alongside other investors and members of the existing senior management team

Tyrone Crystal Ltd

The MBO of Tyrone Crystal was advised by Beltrae Partners, who led the negotiations on behalf of management with the previous owners, Tipperary Crystal. Beltrae became a 25% shareholder after the buy-out, and have since disposed of their shareholding to the management team.

W + G Baird Printing

Beltrae advised the Management team in the successful MBO from its previous owners.

Brookvent Manufacturing Ltd.

We led the buy-out of Brookvent Manufacturing, a leading manufacturer of window vents for public sector housing and domestic ventilation systems. We introduced a MBI candidate who has become Chief Executive of Brookvent. The buyout resulted in Beltrae Partners and the Chief Executive becoming majority shareholders in the company, along side the existing management team.

Audio Processing Technology ('APT')

Beltrae advised the Management team on the successful MBO of APT from its GB based parent, Solid State Logic Ltd. Our role involved the raising of equity and dealer finance from local and Dublin based financial institutions and the negotiation of the purchase from the parent company.
